Jericho Road’s Global Work

The information contained on our former Jericho Road Global website (https://www.jerichoroadglobal.org/) can now be found here on our main Jericho Road website here and under the Global Work menu item above.

Jericho Road’s approach to global healthcare is unique.

Since our Buffalo operations serves and employs individuals from many countries, our leadership has established long-standing relationships, connections and interests in many places around the world.

Our global clinics are usually born from a proposed idea or from someone we have a close relationship with being “called” to go back to their country of origin. At that point, leadership will meet, embark on exploratory trips, and there will be much planning, connecting and praying.

Our global health operations are well planned, welcomed by the governing authorities at each location and independently registered in country. We are also proud to say that each global clinic is fully managed and staffed by in-country personnel and providers.

Here in Buffalo, we conduct many global health mission trips annually to all locations. The trips comprised of teams and may include many Buffalo staff, providers, and board members; local medical and nursing students; residents from our residency program; guest visitors; etc. These trips are invaluable. There is rich cultural exchange, training and hands-on experiences that bond our domestic and international staff.

We would like to thank all our private global donors, family foundations and each U.S. embassy for such generous support of our global endeavors. As well, our continued partnership with Direct Relief has proven invaluable.

Why Healthcare Matters

More than half of the world’s population, 4.5 billion people, live without access to essential healthcare services. At Jericho Road, we believe in a world where there are no boundaries. We establish our health clinics in locations where people otherwise have no access to healthcare, combining local knowledge with government and medical expertise to deliver holistic patient care.

When people have access to primary healthcare they are more likely to:

Succeed in School

Rise out of Poverty

Give Back to their Community
