Jericho Road Community Health Center is excited to announce the appointment of Veronica Koller as our new Chief Financial Officer. With over two decades of experience at Dopkins and Company, LLC—a leader in accounting and consulting for non-profit organizations—Koller is well-positioned to enhance our financial management and uphold the integrity of our finances.
Koller’s extensive background in compliance and consulting for human service organizations, including healthcare, mental health, and special education, aligns perfectly with Jericho Road’s mission to provide high-quality, accessible health services to our community. Notably, she has been involved with Jericho Road from a compliance and consulting perspective for the better part of five years prior to her appointment. Her expertise in navigating the complex financial landscapes of these sectors will be vital in strengthening our fiscal strategies and maximizing revenue to support our commitment to holistic community health.
In addition to her professional achievements, Koller serves as the Secretary of the ARC of Erie County and is an active board member and Treasurer of the Girl Scouts of WNY, Inc. Her dedication to service and meticulous approach to financial oversight make her an ideal fit for Jericho Road, where we strive for excellence in all aspects of our operations. We believe her experience will ensure robust internal controls and effective financial management as we work to improve health outcomes for those we serve.
With Koller’s arrival, we are thrilled to announce several key initiatives that signal a new chapter for our finance department. We have successfully achieved a fully staffed finance team, including the recent addition of an accounting manager with public accounting experience. This milestone, along with our ongoing search for an administrative assistant, will significantly bolster our financial operations and support our commitment to transparency and operational excellence.
Moreover, Koller is leading a comprehensive review of our internal controls across all accounting cycles. This initiative will assess and enhance the efficiency of our revenue management, payroll, billing, purchasing, and financial reporting processes, further reinforcing our mission to serve the community with integrity and impact.
Veronica Koller’s appointment is more than just a leadership change; it represents a strategic enhancement to our financial stewardship, ensuring renewed strength and stability for Jericho Road’s future. We are confident that her expertise will be instrumental in our ongoing success and in advancing our mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
